Suz and i have exchanged many phone calls. Somehow mom's mortgage cheque, which i helped her deposit, did not go thru. Much tracking down later confirmed teller put deposit against visa balance. Way too much work for a person in a wheelchair.
Mom having some complete gap-it moments. Wanted her keys brought to her so she could drive the car. Caught accepting a cigarette (before being able to smoke it) from stranger outside emerg while she waited for Suz to pull up in the car and get her.
The ability of the human mind to block out what it wants or needs to is incredible.
Dad having a deep sleep day. Did not rouse even for blood test needle poke by lab tech.
Suz's girls up to see dad tonite.
My kids will see him on Sunday. He may very well not be awake. But I think we have to give it a try. If by chance he is awake and alert, it will mean a lot to him to see them.
Off to C-wood for the the weekend.
