I have an MA in Journalism from the University of Western Ontario (1986) and an Hons. BA in English literature from McMaster
University (1985).
I have been a writer for more 25 years. I have four children..
I grew up in Collingwood on Georgian Bay, attending First Presbyterian Church. I was active in the United Church of Canada for 15 years. I've taught Sunday school for many years, and have been a Sunday
school superintendent and CE chair. My family and I currently attend at Norval Presbyterian as well as Knox Presbyterian Church in Milton, Ontario.
Through mission work with youth, I have developed a close bond with Winnipeg Inner City Missions." The work of this group has informed a great deal of my writing since our first visit in 2010.
